Carry-Ons (and Other Travel Bags)

Carry-on duffles:

Often when I travel, I try to bring as many things onto the plane with me to keep my checked baggage from being overweight. I have a rolling carry-on that truly pushes the limits of how big a carry-on can be (so far I've been lucky!), and I like to bring along a duffle instead of a purse as well. My favorite is the tried and true Longchamp--the nylon is flexible (easy to stuff under the seat in front of you), and easy to clean. The other bags I've picked here are nearly all nylon as well, with details that make them chic and yet still incredibly functional. I'm particularly obsessed with the Tory Burch duffle, and I so wish I could splurge on it before my big move later this week!

Another dilemma I often have when travelling is not knowing what bag to bring for walking around all day. Your average crossbody screams 'Tourist!' in places like Europe, but at the same time, carry a purse around all day makes my shoulders so tired (please tell me I'm not the only one!). I'd like to think that these cross-body satchels are a happy medium. They're chic leather bags with a top handle for carrying, but they also have straps that you can easily attach to turn them into crossbody bags. If I had one of these gorgeous bags, I'd tuck the strap into the bottom of the bag for when I inevitably get tired after a long day of sightseeing.
